I was lucky enough to have designed the season branding for Arts Centre Melbourne's 2013 Winter Season. Following the branding, I then project managed the delivery of the marketing campaign across print, digital and outdoor platforms for the four ‘Winter Season’ productions; Einstein on the Beach, Proximity, Penny Plain and Botanica.
In July of 2013 - Studio Jack was born - having been rebranded from it's previous name "JCE Creative". This was an open brief for everyone in the agency. Names and concepts were pitched, but my concept for the name 'Studio Jack' was chosen.
The name 'Jack' represented many things that corresponded with the agency. He can surprise you (Jack in the box). He can make your ideas grow (Jack and the beanstalk). He can lift your brand (Car Jack). He can do anything (Jack of all trades). Aside from the creation of the name, I also managed the changeover of all digital and online company assets.
I managed Top Gear Festival Sydney's marketing campaign rollout for both the inaugral Top Gear Festival Sydney in 2013 as well as the 2014 festival. The 2014 campaign consisted of the creation of eDMs, flyers, posters, venue signage, a number of online banners and a full festival program.
As the Marketing, Design and Events Co-ordinator at Canberra Business Council I was across all major council events and marketing campaigns. I managed the design of all collateral, and assisted the marketing manager with the execution of the council’s marketing strategy and the coordination of all events.
I also successfully project managed the end-to-end creation of the council’s first fully in-house designed annual report. This included the collation of content, acquisition of sponsorship and the design of the 75 page report.
During the Canberra Business Council’s (CBC) 2011 Annual General Meeting, I received honorary recognition from the council’s Board of Directors for my positive contribution to the CBC brand.

I collaborated with the team at the Ballarat Beer Festival to develop the initial app concepts and wireframes. Once they were signed off, I then worked closely with the developers during the design, creation and testing phases to make sure that the project was delivered on-time and on-budget. The app resulted in over 3,000 downloads and in-turn brought in repeat business into the agency.
Throughout my career I've developed innovative and creative solutions to surprise, thrill and entertain clients, friends and relatives.
(1) The creation of a custom designed candle scent and packaging as the opening night gift for the producers and stakeholders of King Kong the musical.
(2) Producing a gift basket styled 'Thesis Survival Kit' for a close friend finishing his honors thesis.
(3) The imagination and creation of a custom game, created for 'Sinterklaas' (Dutch Christmas) - where the participant had to bob for apples (each with a different metal key inside) in order to find the appropriate key that opened a locked bag with their gift inside.
(4) Co-ordinating an elaborate opening night gift for a performer in King Kong which involved getting a full metal safe into her dressing room, giving her clues and mini presents in the three weeks leading up to the night and then finally giving her the code to the safe to retrieve her main present on the night of King Kong the musical’s global premiere.
